Your MMI license is tied to your account, not to a specific computer, so you can move it to a new machine. A Pro license can be active on up to two devices at a time.
Install and activate on your new computer
Download and install the latest version (MMI V3) from https://mmi.jovianarchive.com/
Open MMI and log in to your account
Go to the Licenses tab and copy your product key
Paste the key into MMI on the new computer to activate it
If activation is blocked because an old computer is still using the license
If both device slots are already in use — for example, an old or replaced computer is still registered — email us at [email protected] and we'll free up the slot. Please include:
The email address registered to your MMI account
Your order number and license type (Pro or Student), if you have them
Which device should be removed
Once we've removed the old device, you'll be able to activate on your new computer.
Still on an older version of MMI?
Legacy versions can't be transferred directly and are no longer available to download — you'll need to move to MMI V3. Legacy owners can convert their existing license for a one-time $50 update fee. See How do I upgrade to MMI Version 3? for details.
