My MMI activation key doesn't work

If your activation key isn’t working, it’s most often due to entering it into the wrong upgrade window.

Before You Begin

  • Make sure you are copying and pasting only the activation key, with no extra spaces before or after the code.

  • Confirm that you’re entering it in the correct upgrade or installation window based on the type of license you have.

Upgrading to an MMI Edition

For activating or upgrading to one of the following editions:

  • MMI Basic Edition

  • MMI Student Edition

  • MMI Professional Edition

  • MMI Professional Penta Edition

  • MMI BG5 Business Edition

Follow these steps:

  1. Open MMI.

  2. Click on the Help menu and select Upgrade MMI.

  3. In the pop-up window, paste your Activation Key.

  4. Click Upgrade.

  5. Close and reopen the program to complete the upgrade.
    ​

Installing an Extension Module

For activating an extension module, such as:

  • MMAI – Advanced Imaging Module

  • DreamRave Module
    ​

Follow these steps:

  1. Open MMI.

  2. Click on the Help menu and select Install Extension Module.

  3. In the pop-up window, paste your Activation Key.
    ​

Click Upgrade to complete activation.
