This is Part 1 of 3. Before uninstalling MMI, back up your charts so you don't lose them, then remove the program. (Part 2 covers reinstalling MMI; Part 3 covers restoring your charts.)
Show hidden files. Open any folder (for example, Documents), go to the View tab, and tick "Hidden items" — the chart database is stored in a hidden system folder.
Back up your charts. Go to C:\ProgramData\Jovian Archive Corp\Maia Mechanics Imaging\Data and copy the file Charts.s3db to a safe place (such as your Desktop or a USB drive) — somewhere other than that same folder.
Uninstall MMI. In the Start search bar, type "Add or remove programs," find Maia Mechanics Imaging, and uninstall it.
