Why is my MMI still running the Free edition?

After purchasing a paid edition of MMI, you’ll need to enter your activation key in the application to complete your upgrade. Until the activation key is applied, MMI will continue to run in the Free Edition mode.

Upgrading Your Edition

  1. Locate your activation key in your Jovian Library.

  2. Copy the activation key carefully — avoid including any extra spaces or characters.

  3. Open MMI and go to Help → Upgrade MMI from the main menu.

  4. In the popup window, paste your activation key.

  5. Quit and reopen MMI for the upgrade to take effect.

Activating Extension Modules

If you purchased an extension module (such as Advanced Imaging or DreamRave), you will also find its activation key in your Jovian Library.

However, extension modules require a different activation process:

  1. Open MMI and select Help → Install Extension Module.

  2. Paste your module activation key into the popup window.

Restart MMI for the module to activate.
