Rave Time

Updated this week

Rave Time is a utility included with MMI that displays a live “Rave Clock” on your desktop—showing the current BodyGraph and planetary positions in real time.

Rave Time operates independently from MMI and can be configured to launch automatically when your computer starts.

Launching Rave Time

If Rave Time does not start automatically, you can open it manually:

  1. Go to Tools → Rave Time from the main menu.

Understanding Rave Time

The Rave Time window displays:

  • The current BodyGraph

  • The planetary symbols, each labeled with its Gate and Line

  • Green Line Progress bars along the outer edge, showing each planet’s movement through its current Line

This provides an at-a-glance view of the planetary transits in real time.

Using Rave Time

  • Move the window: Click and drag the Rave Time window anywhere on your screen.

  • Right-click menu: Right-click the window to open the context menu, where you can:

    • Refresh Chart – Recalculate the current chart immediately

    • Minimize to Tray – Hide the Rave Time window; to restore it, go to Main Menu → Tools → Rave Time, or click the toolbar icon

Configuring Rave Time

To adjust preferences:

  1. Right-click the Rave Time window.

  2. Select Settings from the context menu to open the Settings form.

Available settings include:

  • Start Rave Time with Windows
Adds or removes Rave Time from the Windows startup list.

  • Keep Above All Other Windows
Keeps the Rave Time window visible on top of all other applications.

  • Notify Me When Planets Change Line
Displays a tooltip balloon notification whenever a planet moves into a new Line. This alert appears even if Rave Time is minimized or hidden.

  • Refresh Rave Data Every...
Sets the interval for how frequently Rave Time recalculates and updates the displayed chart.

Important Note

Although Rave Time operates as a separate utility, it is only functional with a licensed edition of MMI that includes this feature.
