Editing a Chart
To edit an existing chart:
Open the chart from your desktop.
Choose one of the following methods to begin editing:
Right-click on the chart and select Edit from the context menu
Use File → Edit from the main menu
A data entry form will appear, displaying all current chart properties. You can now modify any of the existing details.
Once you make changes, they will appear immediately on the screen but are not yet saved. An asterisk (*) next to the chart’s tab indicates unsaved changes.
To save your edits, go to File → Save. The asterisk will disappear once the chart is successfully saved.
Note:
If you edit and save a Rave Chart that is part of a composite chart (e.g., Connection, Cycle, or Transit Chart), the updated information will automatically apply to those composite charts as well.
Editing Chart Notes
The Chart Notes feature allows you to view and edit notes directly from the toolbar.
To edit chart notes:
Click the Chart Notes icon on the toolbar to open the text editor.
Any existing comments for the chart will be displayed. You can edit or add new notes directly.
Chart comments are saved when you press OK in the text editor — there’s no need to use File → Save.
