If you can't reset your password — or the reset email isn't arriving — work through the steps below. Since our September 2025 website migration, everyone needs to set a new password the first time they log in, so that's the most common reason a login fails.
How do I reset my password?
Go to the login page at learn.jovianarchive.com and click "Forgot password".
Enter the email address associated with your Jovian Archive account, then click "Reset password".
Check your inbox for an email from Jovian Archive (subject: "Reset your password").
Click the reset link and choose a new password — make it strong: at least eight characters mixing upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols.
If you originally signed in with Google, Apple, Facebook, LinkedIn, or X (Twitter) instead of a password, use that same button on the login page — you may not have a password to reset.
I'm not receiving the password reset email — what can I do?
If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, try the following:
Check your spam or junk folder — look for a message from Jovian Archive or [email protected].
Use the correct email address — the same one you created your account with. If you've changed email addresses since, the reset is sent to the original one.
Try your other emails — if you're not sure which address is on your account, try each one.
Give it a few minutes — delivery can be delayed; wait 5–10 minutes before requesting another reset.
Check for provider blocking — some corporate or government mail systems block automated email. Try a personal address if you can.
Why do I see a "Something went wrong" error?
This usually means the email you entered isn't linked to an existing account — for example, you registered with a different address or a different spelling. Email us at [email protected] and we'll locate your account and get you back in.
I'm returning after the website migration — do I need a new password?
In September 2025, Jovian Archive moved to a new platform. If you had an account before then:
Your account and all your purchases were migrated and are safe.
You'll need to set a new password using the steps above — your old password won't work on the new site.
Use the same email address you used on the old site.
If the reset still doesn't work, email [email protected] with the email address associated with your account. We'll reset it manually and restore access to your library.
